It's kind of an overcast day, not real sunny like normal, but it's nice out. This beach has a nice sandy bottom. It's not very rocky at all. There's a lot of seaweed washed ashore, but that's just from the recent storms I think. There's not a whole lot of seaweed in the water. When you initially enter this park, it starts out as a park with pavilions for picnics, bathrooms, and playgrounds for children. Then, you get to this stretch of road and there's the beach part. It's just built up on a little man-made island and it's really nice. The water is nice too. However, you are not allowed to have any pets in the beach area, but they are allowed on this main stretch of road.
